Carole, 56, from Dorset, fell into debt after her son was in a tragic accident.
When her little boy was five years old, Carole had a successful job working as a manager in retail, but nothing could have prepared her for the disaster that ensued after a local family day out. While walking through a field, Carole’s son was violently kicked in the head by a horse, and was whisked to Southampton hospital where he spent a year in recovery.
Coping with her son’s suffering and life-long brain damage, the single mum became his full-time carer for 15 years.
Owing over £2,000, Carole struggled with loan and credit card payments, so she relied on home shopping accounts and catalogues to spread the costs. Resorting to finance offers with ‘buy now pay later’ periods, however, took its toll and Carole dreaded opening the mailbox for fear of receiving repayment letters with sky high interest rates.
An increasingly anxious and dejected Carole eventually searched for help online and was relieved to find debt services support from Creditfix.
Even though there are still a few financial struggles caring for her disabled 21 year old, Carole is now safe from intimidating bailiffs turning up at her door.
Creditfix have provided an excellent service during a very stressful time. They were helpful, considerate and relieved all stress. Can’t recommend them enough if you’re struggling with debt.
