Debt is often described in negative terms. But borrowing money, or ‘taking on debt’, isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Manageable debts, that you can comfortably pay back over an agreed period, are often necessary in order to take that next step in life.
It’s only when debt repayments become unmanageable or unaffordable that debt becomes a problem.
What our customers say about us
What should I do if my creditors are hassling me?
If you are being threatened by bailiff action or your wages have been arrested, you should call our customer service line on 0800 0431 431 and we’ll do our best to help.
What will you do to stop me being hassled?
Unless you are receiving demands for payment, you don’t have to worry.
Creditors are within their rights to continue sending you statements and letters of default. We have a designated team who will send your creditors all the relevant documents they require.
Please allow up to 4-6 weeks for any responses from your creditors.
How can I deal with creditors?
We will always do our utmost to help you deal with creditors.
While we stress that we can’t guarantee protection until an arrangement has been approved, our customer service team are on hand to advise you of certain steps you can take to combat hassle from creditors.
We would advise that you stress to your creditors your intention of entering into an arrangement with Creditfix, and whether it is feasible to maintain the minimum payments until the arrangement is in place. This will make the process run smoother in the long term.
In the very rare circumstance that hassle from your creditors persists after the arrangement has been approved, our customer service team will contact them immediately and ensure all further correspondence is channelled through Creditfix and not you.
