Mental Health Foundation Partnership 17/18
Creditfix are proud to have been supporting our charity of the year, The Mental Health Foundation throughout 2017. Below are some of our fundraising highlights.
July 2017 – Miss Creditfix & Pool Tournament
In July, we launched the charity partnership internally with our staff and had several fundraising events to really kick things off. As well as allowing our staff to vote for which male member of staff they’d like to see in full makeup, we also had a pool tournament with over 60 participants. We raised over £500 from these events, and the staff had a lot of fun!
August 2017 – Creditfix Golf Day
In August, we held our first ever Creditfix Golf day which was a great success. On the day, we raised £2,300 for the charity, making this our most successful charity event to date.
As well as having over 50 of our staff taking part, we also had appearances from former footballers Bobby Petta, Ludovic Roy and Frank Macavenie as well as our very own ambassador, John Hartson.
September 2017 – The Great Scottish Run
In September, we took on our biggest challenge yet with 19 of our staff members & their friends & family running the Great Scottish Run alongside Creditfix ambassador, Gail Porter. On a typically rainy day in Glasgow, our team braved the conditions to raise over £1,000 for the Mental Health Foundation.
October 2017 – Halloween
At Halloween, we asked our staff to dress up… and what a response we had! We had a human Christmas tree, a wizard and even Cruella De Vil made an appearance. On the day, we also held a bake sale and tombola and raised over £1,000 for the charity!
Total Raised So Far: £5,100
