Modern Slavery Statement
Creditfix is the largest Personal Insolvency Practice in the UK and services Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The head office is based in Glasgow with further offices in Carlisle, Manchester and Mauritius.
Creditfix is dedicated to providing excellent and compassionate customer service and has specialist teams to guide customers through the world of debt and personal finance, ensuring the journey is as smooth as possible.
As per the Modern Slavery Act 2015, this statement confirms that Creditfix has taken steps to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in the supply chain or in any part of the business. Creditfix rarely uses the services of temporary labour and is committed to driving high standards across all of its supply chain. We, the management of Creditfix, believe that, in conjunction with the rigorous policies implemented by our suppliers, we can support the eradication of any aspects of human trafficking and slavery from both our and their supply chains.
We place paramount importance on only working with suppliers who treat their obligations towards modern slavery with the importance that we do. We will not work with any organisation within our supply chain that is unable to demonstrate a corresponding commitment to this. Respecting human rights and environmental issues in the supply chain is ultimately our suppliers’ responsibility; however our expectations are clearly communicated.
Creditfix educates its employees regarding the types of factors which can indicate that a worker may be subject to undue influence, via training and information, and actively encourages employees to report any suspicious activity to the Modern Slavery helpline.
Creditfix actively and rigorously audits its suppliers’ legislative compliance, including compliance with the Modern Slavery Act, and identifies any legislative non-compliance to its suppliers.
The Board of Directors of Creditfix believes that driving out slavery in any form from all areas of the supply chain is fundamental to the aims of the Company and therefore has approved this statement.
